This Vehicle Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into as of _________________, 20___ ("Rental Date"), by and between:

Renter represents and warrants that:
Renter is at least 25 years of age
Renter holds a valid driver's license (copy attached)
Renter has a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI, reckless driving, or license suspensions in past 5 years)
Renter maintains personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of $300,000 combined single limit
Renter's insurance policy covers rental vehicles

Renter shall provide a security deposit as indicated above. The deposit will be held on Renter's credit card and released within 7 business days of vehicle return, less any deductions for:
• Damage to the vehicle beyond normal wear
• Excess mileage charges
• Late return fees ($100/hour after grace period)
• Cleaning fees if vehicle returned excessively dirty ($250)
• Fuel replacement at $10/gallon if not returned full
• Traffic violations, tolls, or parking tickets incurred during rental
The Vehicle may ONLY be used for:
Personal, recreational driving
Special events (weddings, photo shoots, etc.)
PROHIBITED USES (violation = immediate termination + full deposit forfeiture):
• Racing, track days, speed competitions, or performance testing
• Towing or pushing any vehicle or trailer
• Off-road driving or unpaved surfaces
• Use while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Subletting, rideshare (Uber/Lyft), or commercial use
• Driving by anyone not listed on this Agreement
• Transport of illegal substances or contraband
• Leaving the state of Pennsylvania without prior written consent
6.1 Primary Insurance: Renter's personal auto insurance is PRIMARY. Owner's insurance is excess only.
6.2 Renter Liability: Renter is responsible for ALL damage to the Vehicle during the rental period, regardless of fault, up to the full replacement value of the Vehicle.
6.3 Deductible: Renter is responsible for any insurance deductible (minimum $1,000).
6.4 Uninsured Damage: If Renter's insurance denies a claim, Renter is personally liable for all repair/replacement costs.
In the event of an accident or breakdown:
1. Ensure personal safety first
2. Contact Owner immediately: (412) 259-3031
3. Do NOT admit fault to any party
4. Obtain police report if any damage or injury
5. Document with photos and collect other party's information
6. Do NOT authorize any repairs without Owner's consent
Renter is responsible for towing costs if breakdown is due to Renter's negligence (running out of fuel, improper operation, etc.).
Vehicle must be returned:
• At the agreed-upon time and location
• With the same fuel level as pickup (full tank)
• In the same condition as received, normal wear excepted
• Clean interior (no excessive dirt, stains, or odors)
Late Returns: 30-minute grace period. After that, $100/hour late fee applies. Returns more than 4 hours late without notice may be reported as stolen.
Renter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Owner, Vault Assets, LLC, and their members, officers, and agents from any and all claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising from Renter's use of the Vehicle.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
By signing below, Renter acknowledges:
